ARAKAN, Thantway-- The conference of Arakan National Party holds in Thantway, Arakan. According to reliable information, there are attending over 200 party members, including U Aye Tha Aung, Dr. Aye Maung and party’s senior leaders.
The sources said that ANP’s Party Conference will hold the five days--24-29-- and it will elect its Executive Committee (EC). There will discuss about its policy, constitutional law and how to elect up-and-coming mature Members of Parliament for 2015 Myanmar Election.
For the purpose of national unity and national interest, ANP was formed by Arakan League for Democracy (ALD), led by U Aye Tha Aung, and Rakhine National Development Party (RNDP), headed by Dr, Aye Maung.
