WAO-USA—For the purpose of prearrangement of upcoming WAO-USA’s events, WAO-USA, led by Speaker U Tun Won, successfully held the Teleconference on Sunday, July 7, 2013.
This Teleconference Meeting minutes discussed the major topics: Annual Meeting Arrangement, Conference Security, Entertainment and General.
As the first, an Annual Meeting Arrangement, on behalf of Arakanese Community of Buffalo City U Khaing Myint Thein explained that his deals on task experience in detail; he has joined the Authorities of Buffalo State College for getting permission of conference room; invited the College students, and heads of local non-profit organizations. He has already contacted to a local newspapers including Colleges Events News for publishing of WAO USA’s Annual Meeting, Arakan National Honorary Award Ceremony, and the Professor Dr. Aye Chan's Seminar.
Teleconference attendees, CEC of WAO-USA, estimated that there will attend 100 audiences in the events; and, Arakanese community in Buffalo City would like to assist all kind of events for achievement.
As the second, Conference Security is very important because some VIP will attend over there; WAO-CEC has deeply discussed it as one of the point in question and made decision to form Security Guard rather than College Security and local Police will have to provide help security.
As the Entertainment and General, WAO-CEC discussed to performance with Arakanese traditional dance, which proposed by Daw Hla Than Wae, In Charge of Finance of WAO-USA. We agreed to invite Arakanese traditional volunteer dancers from Utica, NY. WAO-USA is going to make an Arakan National Honorary Award design with WAO Logo. Ko Zaw Zaw, a professional designer of computer, is assigned to create it by WAO-USA’s President U U Sein Tun .
So far, WAO-USA has arranged to make sure everything before holding its Annual Meeting, Arakan National Honorary Award Ceremony, and the Professor Dr. Aye Chan's Academic Paper Reading Seminar on Saturday, August 17, 2013.
