Refugees from the War Zone
WAO-USA World Arakanese Organization (WAO-USA) is a charity organization that is now collecting donation for refugees ,internally displaced persons, from the war zone where Arakan Army and Myanmar (Burma) Army engaged last April in Kyauk Taw and Platwa townships .
WAO-USA posted its statement regarding on donation on May 10, 2015 after emergency meeting decision of WAO-USA CEC on May 3, 2015. There are over 400 refugees sheltered in Sapa Site village. The refugees fled from war zone villages, including Pun Lone and Aung Lan Chaung in Pi Chaung area. They have faced to hardships: shelter, food, warmth, and medicaid. WAO-USA requests to all donors and provide help them, they need your humanitarian assistance urgently!
